Purpose

This initiative aligns with a growing need to improve inclusivity in clinical research and ensure therapies are representative and effective for diverse populations. 

Key Features of Membership 

1. No Membership Fee: Physicians can join the network without any upfront cost, removing barriers to participation.
2. Training and Support: Equi Sciences will provide comprehensive training, operational structures, and ongoing management to ensure successful implementation of clinical trial practices
   
3. Focus on Diversity: The network is designed to help Black physicians enroll Black patients, addressing the historical lack of representation in clinical trials.

Incentives and Compensation for Physicians 

1. Increased Revenue Per Visit: 
– Physicians earn base reimbursements for patient visits as per insurance/Medicare/Medicaid guidelines. 
– Clinical trial visits, which require comprehensive assessments, qualify for higher billing tiers (e.g., Level 5), significantly boosting per-visit revenue. 
– An escalator model may double the value of a typical visit (e.g., $100 standard visit → $200 for trial visit). 
 
2. Standard and Routine Charges: 
– Physicians continue to bill for routine elements like labs, EKGs, and other ancillary services associated with trial visits, enhancing revenue streams.
